a newly paved bike trail in massapequa park

yesterday I wrote about the massapequa preserve. here is a sampling of what the newly paved trail looks like. I went back for another bike ride after dinner last evening. it was much cooler and the path was teeming with activity. I've never seen so many dragonflies in one place. I felt like I was being followed. they were so big, at first I thought they were small birds!

What a nice place to escape to ... did you get any shots of the dragonflies?

How nice! I wish I lived near a path like that!

I've added people like you to my Google reader, but I can't comment from there and often I'm too busy or lazy to go to where I can. But now you're in my neighborhood (of old). I don't remember Massapequa Park this way. Nice to know it's there. How far do you live from there? I used to live right near the bikepath here but have since moved up hill 2 miles, which is a drag on the way home (read: I don't ride anymore).

That looks so new it's unused! It would be a wonderful place to bike.

Hello,
I received your book on the mail. I appreciate the personal view point that celebrates the ordinary.
