Empire-State-Building-in-Blue-Election-2012

as much as the suspense was killing me, I could barely stay awake last night. and when I did doze off, things weren't looking so hot for obama. I awoke just in time to see this.

The suspense
was quite tense
awaiting Obama
even in Canada
...okay, no, it isn't going to work as a poem, but I'm so glad he won. I couldn't imagine anything worse than our far-right-wing Canadian government except far-right-wing governments in both Canada and the US. I was seriously considering moving to Australia, and some American friends said they'd joining me.
So glad we don't have to. The cost of renting a moving van for that distance would be, if not astronomical, at the very least transoceanic.

I'm always proud to vote and I always support the elected President. Glad to see the Empire State building was Blue! :)

That is so beautiful, and it was also spreading this way, as I also slept past 12mn to watch the news! Imagine, we are at the other side of the globe, yet we watch your happenings there in the US.

I thought this was the coolest thing ever, when the top of the Empire State Building went from blue and red to all blue the moment they called the race for the prez. I'm also glad I won't have to worry about moving! :~}
