I wonder if it will be gone after the rain we've had both yesterday and last night. I love how this grungy snow pile shoved into the corner of a parking lot refuses to give it up! so, who is happy the jets won?
Countless piles of black snow still linger in my area. They are a reminder of the dirt and pollutants that we never see being washed back into the Chesapeake...
Not a sports of any kind fan...Not a fan of snow either but I must admit that pile does seem to have a lot of stamina, and probably should be admired for it's tenacity.
Funny...the big question is our house last night was should we turn to the Golden Globes or see the end of the game..we of course did both! Did you know that I grew up on Long Island...love to see your pictures. Susan
That really is a tenacious pile of snow—which is actually already dirty when it reaches the ground here (put a coffee filter out next time it snows and you'll see what's there when the snow melts). Not a football fan, but I can be happy for the Jets. Hope they go all the way!

I think mushy old snow is sad!

I hope you'll check back periodically to see how long that pile of snow lasts!
