I just can't call the magnolia petals "litter". Too pretty. Lovely post.

Ah, great minds, Lily! I posted a magnolia tree, too, but before it started losing it's blossoms. I love your shot! What a beautiful pink carpet! Hope your week is going well! Enjoy!

That's a beautiful magnolia tree and a lovely house in the backdrop.

On the walk to school today, my son noticed the fallen leaves of a magnolia as well. His comment, 'Dad- those people have to rake leaves in the spring and the fall.'

The kind of mess I would love to clean...
How beautiful!
I was in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden this weekend Lily The cherry trees were blooming or about to bloom! So pretty! I also saw many magnolia trees there. This has been a wonderful spring!

Magnolia Litter! Wish I'd thought of that for Jacaranda litter for J. I'll have to remember to take a photo of the Jacarandas in June and use it next time around. Great idea and great photo. Thanks for visiting.

Isn't that funny? I was just noticing here how the magnolias have 'littered' the ground!

Beautiful carpet.

If that is a recent photo your growing season is a couple of weeks ahead of mine. In the Greater Toronto Area, some magnolias are still in the bud stage while others are in full bloom. Nice photo.
your magnolia tree must have teleported from New Zealand to your garden. Same species, same colour.

They are so beautiful. yes, I wish they won't drop.

Magnificent trees, quite a bit of "litter" for sure, but it is at least beautiful litter if you have to look at litter.

Magnolias are such lovely trees when in full bloom, but the pink petal carpet is a nice visual too. The owners of the house are fortunate to have this tree in their front yard.

How gorgeous! My favorite part of spring!
That's beautiful! There's a section of pavement near my house which gets covered like this, because a magnolia tree is just next to the path. I always enjoy walking that way!

I'd love you to visit my blog, but it's down at the moment because the server was hacked. Should be back tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
