thankfully school was closed so I didn't have to defy authority and make my kid stay home. I woke up at ten to six and I could see the northern parkway webcam on news 12 showing one accident being cleared and heard another report about a jack-knifed semi on the long island expressway. we are now shoveling everything we shoveled yesterday, and more!

Oh boy! Can I empathize with this one! Stay warm and dry and don't overdo with things like shoveling.

Oh yes - and a very belated Happy Birthday. I was holed up at my son's house that day because of loss of electric power at my house.

that is a really beautiful snow scene. not so scenic here :-) i just spent an hour digging my car out so I can get to work tomorrow after two snow days (yay and thank goodness!).

You got a bit more than we did on the North Fork. When will it end!!! Beautiful horses. I got to have one all to myself for a summer when I was a kid. Never forget it.
