blossoms in the suburbs

this is a good representation of what you see if you happen to be traveling around long island these last few days. trees are blossoming left and right, along with some amazing weather.
searching google for a flower quote, I came upon this one by claude monet,

"I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers."

it's hard for me to imagine the world without monet's paintings!
today's post is a part of "that's my world tuesday". to share a part of yours or just see more of others, please go to "that's my world tuesday". thanks to klaus for hosting with his team of helpers, sandy, wren, fishing guy and sylvia.

Definitely very beautiful. I passed some tulips of various colors last evening, and stopped to admire their hues in the fading sunlight. I think many of us need to do more of that.

P.S. Definitely GO SEE THE DINOSAURS!

the flowers are bursting forth early with this warm weather. Lovely shot of the white blossoms and the white house.

These are gorgeous! I love how white the white is and how green the green is. Fantastic photo.

My street looks like that too! The only bad part is the pollen.

We have the blooms too, but our lawns and curb strips don't look so well manicured.
