mellow yellow architecture

Architecture-at-Carnegie-Mellon

this building was colored yellow by my iphone. I snapped this while touring carnegie mellon in pittsburgh. the campus is amazing, so spacious and open with a nice variety of architecture. I was really impressed with the city. there seemed to be so much to photograph and so little time!
meanwhile I am still wondering if I will ever be able to consistently blog again. if I knew how involved a home renovation would be, I am not sure I would have done it. life is too short to have to give up the things you love to do.
speaking of which, today is mellow yellow monday. please visit drowsey monkey's mellow yellow monday meme and join in the fun.

Wonderful composition on this one Lisa, excellent look through the arch. I have to agree, renovating is such a nervewracking business, I bet it will be so worth it in the end!! Stay sane haha!

Ahh, but the end results of home renovation are soooo worth missing a blog post or two or five or ten.

Love the yellow!

One picture at a time... it should work just fine and it's a way to "destress."

What a shot! Great composition and color. Don't you just love Pittsburgh? I assume you got down to the waterfront area...some city!

So you're still on your campus tours? We are having a break from ours, although daughter's application has been submitted. There will be visit days in the Spring, so we're saving our time and money for those.

I can imagine that home renovations consume all available time. With me just now it's 'only' pressure of work.

A Beautiful arch! True, you shouldn't have to give up what you love (when you renovate)
