Queens Smokestacks

These smokestacks made the news today. Apparently one of them started billowing black smoke out over the East River. I stumbled upon them last week while out and about perusing this neighborhood with Ian. It was the first time I've ever seen these beauties up close. I usually see them while driving on the Long Island Expressway.
