summer night

yes the heat was oppressively hot yesterday, but still, what could be better than roasting marshmallows around the fire on a summer evening with family and friends? a really cool part is that the fire keeps the mosquitoes from biting you. we were doubly lucky last night as we enjoyed a nearly full moon as well.

I think the best part of your gathering is the friends and family. How fun!

Love the picture - sometimes it's weird to think of them living there now you living there. It must be great when you have gatherings for A's family to reminisce. Great additions to the blog!

I adore that little table brazier Lily! We have outside fires all the time and it has never occurred to me to have a tiny one just for toasting marshmallows. What a great idea.
