fallen tree





though I am only guessing this fallen tree was due to stormy weather just days before, I can not say for sure. I took this photo while hiking in early november at the uplands farm nature sanctuary. please go here if you would like to see a more tranquil view of the sanctuary. it is one of my favorite places in long island.
