not many people put up valentine's day decorations, which is actually somewhat of a relief! I tend to think the best holidays are the ones with the least fuss. some people feel valentines day is exclusive to couples and think it's depressing if you don't have a partner of some sort. personally, I just think of it as a day to tell my loved ones that I love them. so what do you think about valentines day?

Valentines Day has always passed me by - till last year when one of my doggie blog friends sent me a card & heart shaped box!

Awwww! I agree with Pietro: "Magic photograph". Love it.

I think Valentine's is for everyone, whether they are a couple or not. There are different kinds of loves and friendships, etc... No what I mean? ;-)

To me, Valentine's Day is just fun. Heart shaped cookies to bake, etc. Sending the little ones cares, because they get such a kick out of getting mail. It nice for sweethearts of course, but mostly, just fun. Don't you love the little "conversation hearts" candy?

Thanks Paz,that is how I feel about the holiday. & like Bobbie, I send cards to the children in my life because I know it is fun for them to get mail.

Bobbie, you are going to laugh,Friday I got busted in the grocery store for taking pictures of their conversation hearts. I tried to explain it would only be positive press, but they weren't interested!
At least they didn't confiscate my camera.

I think Valentine's Day is one of the funnier occasions of the year. It's kind of mean, but I think it's funny to watch men panic and run to the florist to get flowers for their girlfriends or wives. And I think it's funny when women do things that are completely out of character for their partners, and so on. Maybe it's the mischief chick in me, but I think if you have an open mind and a good sense of humor, it can be one of the best days of the year. Happy V-day this year!!!

Oh I love hearts .. must be our shared birthday, Happy Belated Birthday Feb 7 Sharer! ... that I could look at for a month, holiday lights get old fast especially since people put them up in August .. ;-D

I like the pink hearts, Happy Valentines day to you.
We hardly celebrate the day here, my Husband sometimes picks a pretty flower, usually a rose and gives it to me - when he remembers, sometimes I buy a heart shaped chocolate for us both, thats about it. This year I shall be working all day and night so maybe no rose or Chocs!
We do live the good life, it meant to be enjoyed, so we do!
