It seems a modern, comfortable and central hotel near to the shops and to everyting essential during a trip or a holiday.

That is a great name. I can't say that I've ever stayed in a hotel in Manhattan. I've never even visited Manhattan! I hope to one day :)

I've stayed in many hotels in many cities, but not in Manhattan. That might be fun.
How nicely you capture the Long Islanders' lifestyle. Heading into Manhattan as you please!

Yes .. at The Plaza a lifetime ago ... very romantic ... but I remember most of all the terry bathrobes and there was a phone AND a bottle opener (on the wall) in the bathroom and a hamburger (ordered from room service) cost $15!

Yes, we stayed at 2 of them for our Honeymoon. We also went to the Latin Quarter which is no longer in NYC. When the Hotel Edison found out we were Honeymooners they gave us a suite for the same price as a single room. It was fun.

Many moons ago, when I was a college student, there was a power outage in the middle of winter in the middle of mid-term exams. (how about that for a lot of "middles"?) My roommate was the daughter of a very wealthy family, and her father was so worried that we were going to freeze, he put us up in the Plaza Hotel until the power and the heat came back on. That was sweet. I haven't stayed in a Manhattan hotel since, though.
