& hopefully, will go out like a lamb! what better signifies the beginning of march than st. patrick's day? it seems like a holiday people love to celebrate whether they are irish or not. this church is doing so in the form of a dinner of corn beef and cabbage.
this post is part of hey harriets shadow shot sunday. if you'd like to see more shadows, please go here. otherwise, how do you celebrate st. patrick's day?

Great shot. I particularly like the part of the structure in the back (I don't know what it's called), the pointed, tower-like part that's lit up.

'Tis a beautiful shot to be sure. And how very Irish to be holding the St Patrick's Day dinner on 15 March. Deloitful!

The shadows are subtle and sweetly pastel. Very pretty, with visions of bright green just around the corner.

I like the shadows on the spire (and now you've made me hungry for corned beef! LOL!)

That's a really fun shadow shot. All of the lovely colours in it make me smile. And hello March! Spring for you now. How exciting to be finally entering warmer weather. I'm not sure what I'll be doing to celebrate St Pat's Day yet. Over here, St Pat's day celebrations usually involve a lot of drinking. And eating 'bangers & mash' with all the beer :)

Everyone wants to be Irish on St. Patrick's day. I haven't got an ounce of Irish blood, but even I like to wear green and make shamrock cookies!

I'm just collaging the shadow shots for this coming Sunday and yours is a PNG image. I can only collage JPEGs :( If you are able to send to me a JPEG version within the next 24 hours I'll be able to include it. Just not sure if I'll have time after that...so may need to use a shadow shot from the archives. My email link is on my blog. Just love this photo so am keen to use it if I can!

Cheers Tracy :)
