vintage toy fire truck with window shadows

if your looking for nostalgia, you must visit the land of ooh's and ahh's. searching to see if they have a website I happened upon their ebay store which may be helpful to those of you who like to shop the internet. I often find myself staring in their window as I sit in traffic waiting for the train to pass. yesterday those lovely letter shadows made the waiting much more bearable.
as you can see, the town of farmingdale has been graced with abundant sunshine providing lots of interesting shadows for today's post.
please visit  hey harriet's 'shadow shot sunday' meme if you want to join in the fun or if you'd like to see more shadows. & a big thank you to tracy for hosting shadow shot sunday too.

Oh, I love it, Lily! As I do all of yours, but there's something really appealing about this little fire truck and all the busy shadows in the window! Fun one for the day! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!

Wonderful shadows cast by those letters on the window, and I love the little red fire truck. It reminds me of a pedal car my brother had when we were children, and now these things are "vintage"! Sigh.

Great shadows in that window, but it is hard to not just stare at that fabulous fire truck.

Have I just forgotten but I don't remember these cute cars having "volunteer" fire dept on them before. Whatever, it's cute as a bug and I love it.

I MUST get that little truck for Mimi. Well, before she's too big for it, which is about a minute from now.

Great shot!!!
