the booth theatre and a little night music?

I'm not so crazy about this sign (see yesterdays post), but I like the photograph I took of this street scene at night. recently I saw the musical 'a little night music'. if you like romantic comedies you may want to check it out. visit broadwaybox.com and you may get lucky. I found discounted tickets in the third row orchestra section the same day I went to see the show.  the story is based on the ingmar bergman film 'smiles of a summer night' and the music is written by stephen sondheim. not only was 'a little night music' a visual delight, the actors were amazing and their voices were incredible.
sorry I didn't have a nice shot of the walter kerr theatre to match my post!

The photography on the sign is very nice, so is your shot of it. It must be nice to live where you can see all the fabulous musicals and such going on.

I was wondering what the marquee had to do with A Little Night Music ... how lucky you were to snag seats .. did Bernadette Peters blow you away?

Great shot (and great show, right?). I was just in the neighborhood—yesterday, meeting a friend for dinner on restaurant row, and I see what you mean about the signage!

Thanks Everyone! & yes Marlene, I do love that about living on LI!

Yes Daryl, Bernadette Peters was amazing & Elaine Stritch was too - they all were quite good! I felt like I was in the presence of great talent.
