early christmas

I believe I may have figured out why this home always seems to be decorated so early - usually like the day after halloween. I am thinking the people who live here might be a step ahead of everyone else decorating when the weather is warmer so they aren't freezing their butts off - decorating after thanksgiving like everyone else. if this is the case, I think it's a great idea.
I can only hope that some day I will be this organized.
you'll never guess why I posted about this house once before. well, maybe you will. it was because they are also one of  the last  in the neighborhood to take their decorations down.
it's nice to see such christmas spirit.
to share a part of your world or just see more of others, please go to "that's my world tuesday". a big thanks to klaus for hosting with his team of helpers, sandy, wren, and sylvia.

Put them up before it gets too cold and leave them until it warms up!! Hey, makes perfect sense to me, although I'm not sure I'd want to look at them for quite that long!! Great shot for the day, Lily! Hope your week is off to a great start! Enjoy!

Sounds like smart thinking to be ahead of the game. My niece just put up her Christmas tree, so I guess it is never too early to celebrate the holiday!

Maybe they're looking for extra points with Santa.

It's christmas already?! Well, it's around the corner and I love this season. Nice shots.

That's why Xmas is on the coldest day of the year - just to stop people from wasting time and money. Can't a simple Xmas tree suffice?

Way too early, IMO. I would be sick of looking at this long before Christmas rolled around.

Too early for me....takes all the excitement away, I think. But each to his own!

I love their enthusiasm too, but was going to say what Bibi said. We work three months ahead at my magazine, so I have to do Christmas in September for the December issue (which does NOT make me more enthusiastic when the season actually arrives)!
Our neighbors decorate early too because our main industry is growing Christmas trees- they are very busy from Oct thru early Dec.

Lets hope the owners never meet Suldog who is campaigning to make sure people remember Thanksgiving comes first!

I was passing by this house when they were decorating. It's too early to look at all that stuff if you ask me. Better to freeze a little and be more in season. but that's just me.
