magical autumn





























much apologies to anyone who has happened by & seen I haven't posted anything new since friday! between some major home improvements and our son applying to college, things have been a tad bit chaotic. that doesn't mean I haven't taken at least a little time to notice the wonderful magic of the leaves turning.

The photo is beautiful and I know exactly what you're going through. We just finished the college admission process for the third time. It's such a weighted, unfair process process - and there are often hurt souls, but it does work out. Once they get to school they tend to be happy and forget the rejections. We were lucky with our last though, he got into his 'early action' and BOY did that make life easier. Good luck!

A beautiful composition, and a good reminder to stop and look at the beauty that lies in detail.
I don't know how the college application process works in the US, but it sounds as if it's stressful for parents the world over. My daughter is finalising her application to universities at the moment - there's so much to consider, and it's such a competitive process. I might do a post about it and you can see what's the same and what's different to your process.
