today's flower at planting fields arboretum






























I'm sure you can see why this unusual flower caught my eye. unfortunately since it didn't have a name tag, I have no idea what this beauty is called. does anyone have any idea? please visit "today's flowersif you'd like to see more beautiful blooms or if you'd like to add your own.

The fall of the flowers is so enchanting! They remind me of a fuschia, but there appears to be no contrasting colour!

I agree with those who say it's a fuchsia—maybe Fuchsia magellanica, not quite in full bloom yet.
