lemon orange easter cake with spring flowers


my mother made this excellent cake for easter. the cream cheese frosting was especially good with the added coconut. yumminess is probably not a word but that is the only one that comes to mind when I think of how good it tasted. my mother is an amazing cook. come back tomorrow to see this cake's aftermath.

Yumminess is definitely a word! We had a coconut cake too, and it was de-lish (just like yours, I'm sure).

Have you ever been to Robinson's tea room in Stony Brook?

they catered my bridal shower and had sweet flowers like that all over my finger sandwiches. The owners are wonderful too. Big cardinal fan like me :)
