Feels Like Winter

I hope this wintry cold snap doesn't weaken the Snow on the Mountain - or any of our other newly sprung plants for that matter! We have a lot of shade in our backyard so the perennials that revisit us always seem to be a bit behind their cousins who reside elsewhere in our neighborhood. A recent unfortunate, though necessary tree removal has brought added light to this once shady patch. It was exciting to see the Snow on the mountain coming in early. Hopefully today's Sun will keep these beauties warm enough to endure today's frigid temperatures.
