a manhattan sky for today



































photos can be deceiving. didn't the street in yesterday's post look so quiet? this photo was taken from the same corner just seconds later. as you can see, it was a lot busier at this intersection than my first photo leads you to believe.

That is a gorgeous sky and a wonderful view. It really strikes me how clean the air looks vs. so many other cities around the world.
I find it strange that sometimes the same scene looks different when you turn the camera just a little bit.

Do you ever watch cumulus clouds scudding over a tall building and feel like it's tipping over? We used to stand near our concrete silo on the farm and feel like that.
