shadows on the dunes

same beach as yesterday only as I take the picture my back is facing the sun. I love the spots of green dune grass scattered around the fence mixing with the colors of the shadows.

This is such a lovely image. It looks like a really serene spot. I could just sit and stare at this photo for ages! Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Splishy-splashing at the beach some more maybe? :)

Isn't that the most perfect, classic seaside scene, well captured. It would make a lovely card front!! ~karen

This shot is simply dreamy, makes me long for a stroll on the beach...well, maybe a stroll on the flooded banks of the Mighty Miss...have a wonderful week ahead!

I love this shot, it's either a weekend at Bernie's or something a little more sinister. I've seen lots of nail biting movies that have this scene it them.

Very lovely photo. But maybe it doesn't look as splendid in the real thing. By the way did you use a filter here? thank you

Great shot. I like the grasses, especially.

The beaches must have been packed?

The lighthouse peeping over the dune makes a nice reference point. Even so, I one of those people who can erase very building and artifact down to the dunes and the grass and imagine myself standing there a thousand years ago as other men must have done. The power of a wild place.

Oh I love this photo! It reminds me of a long sandy beach in Something's gotta give which is one of my favorite movies. Very American to me :) I also got work that your book is on its way to me. Looking forward to it!
