fan queue at the us open

a big thanks to my brother George for sharing

The fan queue shows a modest lineup of signature seekers who wait near the crosswalks that the pros funnel through to the next tee from each green. Many of the pros oblige, and sign hats, flags, programs, and other items.

remember I said my brother was volunteering as a marshall at the us open? today he is also my first official guest writer and photographer here at long island daily photo. thank you george!

Interesting image, Lily.
As a fan of the great pianist Benedetti Michelangeli, I waited for him with other fans after a concert at Montecarlo years ago. We waited for more than one hour in the theater, but he went off and we were left empty-handed! :-)
