lilies with hydrangeas

please click on photo to see lilies and hydrangeas up close

I've never seen these planted together before. and here I thought I had such a good imagination, making up a pen name that no one has ever thought of! I should also mention the delicate lavender flowers are part of a hosta plant. do you have a favorite flower?

Good for you that you found them! Or was it?

Favourite flower? It can be any flower as long as it´s red or orange.

Ah, perhaps you inspired someone to plant that combination, Lily - isn't it pretty!

This is so perfect for you!
White lilies and white baby's breath. But anything white, really :)

That is the perfect photo for you!

I wonder if a squirrel was the gardener, though? We have flowers spring up in the most unusual places, thanks to them.

Hey, that's perfect.

Well, I'm glad someone thought of planting them together because they're lovely.
My favorite home grown flowers are lilacs. In the wild, I love columbines.

Very lovely picture, Lily.
About your question, I like all the flowers: for example, I appreciate the gladiolus for its stateliness and the daisy for its simplicity.

Actually, I was going to say what Shell said. And two of my absolute faves are here: hydrangeas and hostas.
Add in some peonies and I'm in horticultural heaven.
Nice shot too!

How perfect that there is actually the visualisation of your name, Lily! Very, very pretty.
Apart from camelias, rhododendrons, azaleas, lillies of all varieties, iris, I love roses. And violets and grandma's bonnets and agapanthus and the list goes on. I guess that I just love flowers!
