seagulls at robert moses

if you click on this photo you can see the seagulls sitting all in a row on top of this small building. you can also see one flying in, getting ready to take his rightful position. I love this beach. where is your favorite beach?

I used to love Jones Beach - but way at the end where there were few people. Now I love Cape May Point. And of course, Monterey Bay, CA at Pacific Grove.

Lilly H: I thought of you the other day when taking pictures of lilies and hydrangeas together. Rather, I thought of your name since I don't know you. Love your recent lily/hydrangea combo picture.

what a great sky?
it's been a moody summer this year. I recall summers of endless bright days. So strange.

this weekend was perfect for the beach. Did you go?

Love the beach house! It looks perfectly quiet and calm.

That's a very pleasant scene, and reminds me that I have never seen the atlantic ocean except from an airplane and pictures.

No pets, huh? But I was hoping to take my pet seagull. Those birds are really brazen, aren't they? Looks like you had a gorgeous beach day out on Fire Island.
