rockville centre has some of the most beautiful larger homes on long island. if you click on this photo, you can get a better look at the hydrangeas. notice the pretty blue sky? it was a glorious day yesterday compared to all the rain we had on tuesday.

Hydrangeas are my favorites, this house looks beautiful w/ them. I live in a condo w/ a 10x10 garden and my goal is to cover it w/ hydrangeas, I have 6 of them now w/ a few day lilies trying to peak thru... I have deep blue ones, white ones and some other variation of white that immediately turns a dried out burgundy color altho that one had gotten so huge I had to cut it back to the ground and this year while it grew tall, I have no flowers. I love them all and photograph them all spring and summer (and continue to cut some for inside!)
Great picture!

When I first moved to LI with a girl friend, we lived in an apartment in Rockville Centre. It is a lovely town.

That's a beautiful house. A lucky person lives there! I love the stained glass that you can see in the front windows. The hydrangeas are so lovely too.

I have one lone hydrangea that was totally tramped down by the roofers several years ago. It's back now, to it's original size, but has never bloomed again. :(

This is beautiful -- everything in the photo; the sky, house AND the flowers.

I just saw a big bush of hydrangeas blooming in my neighborhood. It looks gorgeous. I took photos of it last summer but I think I'll go back and take this year's photos. ;-)
