Oh, Lord, I think I'll wear a mask! Strangely enough the only year I have ever had the flu was the one year I got talked into getting a flu shot! Needless to say, that was the last time! Love your post! What a hoot!

Enjoy the rest of your week, Lily!

Must be for the seasonal flu, there's no vacine for the H1N1 yet, I think.

I never get flu shots. After I got sicker than a dog the last two times (ages ago), I swore never to do it again.
I hope your winter won't bring to much flus, ordinary or H1N1.

We said goodbye to winter here in New Zealand.

I thought it was for the Arizona Flu !!! LOL

I asked my Walgreens since they had signs up everywhere, it is the regular seasonal flu shot
the H1N1 isn't available until mid October

$25 for a flu shot? Wow .. inflation has hit everything ... last year it was a $15 co-pay ...

I am deathly afraid of flu shots - I'm allergic to the medium it's grown in anyway, but the year my Mum was persuaded to have the shot she was crippled within weeks with inflammatory arthritis which has never gone away. And the year I got the pneumonia shot, within a month or so my thyroid packed up and I developed fibromyalgia. Still got both. I'll take my chances.

Flu shots already? I didn't think the H1N1 was available yet.
Funny and strange to see them advertised on a sign.
I've been getting flu shots ever since I actually got the flu 5 years ago; never felt worse than that.

I really hope nobody catches the flu! I think the vaccine is absolutely useless, sometimes even bad for the health.

Thanks everyone for commenting. I really found everyone's experiences quite interesting. This morning I saw a news report that said the H1N1 vaccine will be available this October 15.
So far the newspapers say that everyone who has gotten it recently seem to be having a mild case, so that is a good sign. I know there were fears that it would come back in the Fall much stronger.
In the meantime I plan on doing a lot of hand washing!
