I suppose as long as there are people who start to shop on that day the retailers think it's okay to start advertising it then. Crazy, but true. To be honest, I'm now thinking about the Christmas purchases we will be making. :-)

«Louis» noticed the local Tarzhay (Target) had already done the changeover to Christmas in its seasonal section on Halloween day.
Actually, I saw some Christmas ads the week before Halloween. They're probably trying to get us in the mood, but I think it's having the opposite effect!
