at kim's spendless cleaners

please click on photo to enlarge for greater detail

I couldn't help notice these wonderful shadows and colors so I asked the proprietress if I could snap a photo. I am not surprised she happily obliged, she is such a happy person you can't help but smile when you see her. as you leave, she actually rushes to the door to hold it open for you. she really does make the act of picking up one's dry cleaning rather enjoyable.
I usually wait for sunday to post a shadow shot, but it is already sunday in australia where the lovely hey harriet, host of today's meme resides, so I figured, why wait?

This reminds me of one of those "I Spy" photos. There are so many things going on and it's fun to find the object that created each shadow. Everyday shadows are so, so fun.

What a delightful place to have your clothes dry cleaned. Ours is like some sort of horrible factory. I could spend a lot of time (and money!) getting my clothes looked after in this shop.

What an amazing 'dry cleaning shop.' We don't have such places, here they are just boring places and no one would ever open the door for you! The only place I go to where the open the door for you is my local Chinese take away, they are very courteous.Getting back to the shadows, they are wonderful and varied.

That's one of the things I love about most small business', the courtesy and the caring...good service is a dying art.

Wonderful warm shot!

I can't wait for SSS either! I love putting up my post each week. The colors in your SSS are very delicate looking, and then I enlarged it. The bamboo really pops out. Happy SSS!

Be sure to ask if she uses the internet, because I bet she'd love to see her shop for the world to see and admire. Just beautiful photograph, beautiful. Everything so neat and orderly, but creativity and kindness abounds, you can tell.

Why wait indeed! :)

So that's a Dry Cleaners? It's very pretty compared to other Dry Cleaning businesses I've seen. It has such a lovely feel about it and the shadows are so sweet. A beautiful photo & as Sarah above said, it would be great for the owner to see this shot!
