how about some coffee with those bagels?

and not just any coffee, but new england coffee! rummaging through my archives this morning I was looking for a shadow shot when I came across this photo from my recent trip to vermont. located in manchester you have to climb an outside staircase in order to gain entrance to a place appropriately called up for breakfast. it is probably the coziest atmosphere I have ever eaten in outside of my home. the food is absolutely delicious, though I think a little pricey for breakfast fare. check out the french toast below.

Lily, it must be really nice to have breakfast in that restaurant! And if the atmosphere is comfortable, it's still better!

Oooh, coffee! You said the magic word! Yes please! I haven't had a bagel for years. They don't seem to be very popular over here. They went through a brief phase of being popular...I don't quite know what happened to them after that :( Now French Toast I could eat for breaky, lunch & dinner! LOVE it. I love butter on mine also. I love butter on everything! I'd butter apples if it was socially acceptable to do so...hehe. What a delightful post!

I swear that little snowman ornament asked me a question. Well the answer is, I'll have some tea with my Bagel instead. Very tasty shadows ;)

PGma & Bobbie, you have to try it with butter, it's so good with hot syrup!
Yummy! I love French toasts with maple syrup and butter but I get hungry again in less than an hour later.

Bagel -- I like them with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Yum!
