talk about a bird's eye view...

do you see them up there? if you click on this photo you may notice a row of birds, I'm guessing pigeons, up on top of the very hard to miss sign in this photo. this sign is also hard to miss in real life. I guess the birds are making the best of this snowy day. can you imagine their view? it snowed most of the day yesterday, so the sky was a blank sheet of grey, pretty in its own way. happy new year everyone!

today is skywatch friday, if you'd like to see more skies from all around the world or if you'd like to add your own sky, please go here, thanks to klaus and his team, sandy, wren, fishing guy, louise and sylvia.

Through Sky Watch Friday we do learn to keep an eye out for all the goings on up in the sky which makes for interesting viewing. Happy New Year to you.

Maybe someone should train the birds to convince people to stop in the stores and spend money and boost the economy...or is that too much to ask and expect of pigeons?

Happy New Year, Lily!

Oh yes, beautiful shot!
I always see some lined up on a traffic light, but when I was there to photograph them they disappeared!
Happy and Joyful 2010, Lily!
Could be anywhere along the south side of Long Island! I think they are pigeons. With Best Wishes and a Happy New Year.

It's almost as if they're waiting for the store to open! LOL!

I love how birds do this! I have a picture of birds all lined up on a sculpture which spans a small river. They certainly add something to the shot, don't they?
