morning frost

the weather yesterday morning was so strange. frost covered the ground and cars, yet as I walked to my car it felt unseasonably warm outside. for the rest of the day we had high winds and rain until the late afternoon. our poor priscilla does not like winds that howl. she spent the better part of the storm curling herself up into a ball trying to move as little as possible.

Now that's an adorable dog. Since they hear everything better, the wind howling is a huge irritant.

Love the tree photo.

Awwww! She's such a cutie! I don't blame her, I don't like the wind either! Love your shot of the tree and the bare branches etched against the skies -- one of my favorite things about winter -- there aren't that many! Give Priscilla a hug for me! Have a great week, Lily1

What an adorable little dog! I agree with Priscilla, I hate the sound of the storms we have had here for a while now.
I wish you and Priscilla a great week!

I didn't know you had a dog! She's cute!

Bibi loves the cold, and would stay out for hours....the wind does me in, so I reserve our long walks for windless cold.

yeah, it's interesting driving out each morning from brooklyn to commack. i find it's generally much warmer in (bay ridge) brooklyn - I guess because of the nearby water. The further east I get, the more frost I see.

i want to walk across that frosty field and leave a path....

priscilla is a sweetie!

I like the image of the tree: it well describes the strange cold weather.
Happy new week, Lily!

Priscilla is sooo cute. I'm so glad that weather's over. So much rain, I left my camera at home. ;-)

What a cutie. Our Golden Retriever hates storms, too...especially thunder and lightning! She doesn't hide, though, she just follows us around everywhere.
