last christmas photo, maybe...

please click on photo to see shadows up close

I'll admit it, I am a christmas straggler. so I was very happy to see this wreath and its lovely shadow still gracing this school a few evenings ago while driving home.
today I am finally taking down our christmas tree. I will miss the pretty lights but I will like the lack of christmas clutter too.

The wreath does cast a lovely shadow on the wall.
I always hate to give up the Christmas decorations, too, but putting them away forces me to look forward to the next season.
It is past 12th night, so it is time! Lovely shadow casting crown-like shadow over wreath!

Great shadow shot, Lily! It is hard to get past the holiday and move on through January -- particularly when the weather is crappy and you still have to get out in it! Ah, well, spring will be here some day. I hope!!!

Have a great week,

Sylvia

Very nice. My daughter tells me when she went to church this morning it was still decorated for Christmas. I guess you are not alone in keeping things up for a while.

Beautiful shot and wreath, indeed the shadows are more visible in the enlarged version. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful shot. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am not a straggler, but all my snowmen are still out, they are winter right?

It may be the last but it's a great one and the snow flakes flling are a great touch, I didn't know you could apply it to individual photos. Now I'm going to have to try it.

No need to press the pix for close up. I see what am looking for, though.

Last Christmas shot? this is really shot.

Job well done.
