we didn't stay at the hotel but members of our family that did said it was very comfy. anyone who is visiting the hotel is welcome to use the porch or eat in any of their dining areas. we had an AMAZING breakfast there at 7am the morning we left town. the chef that served me the most delicious waffles was so attentive and kind-he made me feel like a queen.
You have heard of LI & its many stereotypes? You wonder if they may be true but wish not to risk visiting in the event that they are. Be bold then & visit me daily & I promise I will show you many sides of Long Island that you will be both amazed & inspired by.

Oh, gosh, yes it is. Did you stay there or just sit a while on the porch?
That looks so relaxing, PGma
what a view .. if i could i would be sitting there right now .. thank you for the visual escape from my boringly dull yet insanely busy office
This looks like a perfect place to put your feet up and just "set a spell." Was it?
