more snow and sky




























I am so trying to reconcile myself to the fact that we haven't even gotten to february yet! lucky for me I had to wake up early so at least I didn't miss out on all the snow when it was still fresh and beautiful. these two scenes were photographed yesterday morning around 8am.

It is so beautiful, Lily, and your captures are terrific! I have to remind myself to quit whining about the chill, foggy, gray weather here -- at least we don't your temps and the snow -- in spite of it's beauty. Have a great weekend! Stay warm!

Wonderful sunrise. And snow does look so nice when it's fresh, doesn't it? Ours is melting right now, but the temperatures are going to fall again, so we'll have ice. Ugh. Thanks for sharing the loveliness.

Your snow shots are really beautiful! I like seeing snow here in blogs rather than out my front door. That is a lot of snow to contend with!

There is nothing like the peaceful quiet after a snowfall.

This is terrible, but I heard there was more snow in the works? (NO! I didn't say that!!)

We got 16 inches last night on top of the 3 we got earlier in the day...and more is expected this weekend! I feel like I live in the artic and not NYC!

Oh, Lily, I don't miss the snow this year!! Although I do admit it IS beautiful when it's freshly fallen, that's about the only nice think I can say about it!! ~karen
