thoughts of summer, the perfect antidote to a frigid mellow yellow monday and new york portraits

during this past weekend I noticed this tiny begonia hanging on in its flower pot from last summer. while noticing the perfect yellow, of course I immediately thought of mellow yellow monday. please be sure to stop over there and visit if you are at all interested in all things yellow.
I also thought it would be nice to turn our thoughts away from the cold by sharing with you a print I just received from kitty over at new york portraits. last summer while perusing kitty's blog I saw she posted a print that I absolutely fell in love with. it's one of those pieces I could just look at again and again.
