while waiting for my turn to traverse this flooded roadway yesterday, I couldn't help notice all the little patches of yellow breaking through the overcast atmosphere. we had an unbelievable amount of rain pouring out of the sky for the ENTIRE day sunday. it was actually nice for a change. and, I think we needed it. today is mellow yellow monday. if you feel so inclined, please visit drowsey monkey's mellow yellow monday meme to check out all things yellow. & don't forget to add your own bit of yellowness too!

What a nightmare that rain all day on Sunday was and more predicted for today ... I feel for those in 'low lying areas' that flood easily .. what a mess.

Good for you for braving it (and getting such a great shot)—here in Brooklyn, I never even left the house yesterday! (But all that rain was pretty cool—& needed.)
