school starts...again

yesterday marked the beginning of a new school year for our local public schools. and idyllic as this scene is, I don't miss watching ian slave away at hours upon hours of homework like he used too while in high school. speaking of which, anthony and I dropped ian off at college a little over two weeks ago. and if there is anyone out there who is feeling a bit of empty nest syndrome, I can totally relate.
