I think we've finally crossed over into the much colder part of Autumn here in NY (& on Long Island). Maybe my longing for a warmer day is what drew me to this picture from last summer's archives. I'm back....and nursing a bad cold, but now I'm on the up. Like this photo a lot, as Alexa said, and it's very dramatic. (My mother and I used to call those very tall water towers 'Men from Mars', since they reminded us of Orson Wells' War of the Worlds.
