is it too early to be thinking of spring?

I know, yesterday I was still pining for christmas. Then last night I took our tree down and suddenly I am over all the pining - as well as all the pine needles that needed to be dislodged from the living room carpet. This morning's darkening cloud cover and rain made me long for spring. Fortunately we have flowers such as these to inspire us until then.
