bond... james bond

in america it is a popular tradition to go to the movies the night of or the day after a big holiday. last night I finally got to see quantum of solace. I always like the beginnings of james bond movies. the graphics and music in this one were no exception.
when is the last time you went to the movies?

I haven't gone to the movies for a long time: the last film I saw was Callas Forever by Franco Zeffirelli.

Haha! That's an awesome photo - I've got to say I love the graphics and music too, especially the Jack White/Alicia Keys track. The last movie I saw was Tropic Thunder!
A Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

Thanks for your comment on my blog!

Pietro that sounds like a good one! I'll have to check it out.

That one too Bbazy! I love a good movie.

Thanks Ian.
: )

Thank you too Sonia.

Hi Elizabeth! I really enjoyed it. I love watching Judi Dench & James Bond is like a super hero. I liked it better than the last one too.
I saw it on Thursday/Thanksgiving Day. Great movie although I think they left the plot hanging since Bond never found out who the "mystery group" is.

I haven't seen this one yet. I went to the movies on Friday night. It was a 'closing down party' of a much loved indie cinema. It was a sad night because I have so many fond memories attached to the cinema, but they at least screened 'Amelie' to end on a happy high note :)

...another one bites the dust :(

I was SO-o-o-o close to seeing it this past weekend. I loved "Casino Royale" which is a must-see before Quantum. Daniel Craig is a great "Bond." My theory in a nutshell...
Timothy Dalton brought depth and class back into this series. He was considerably underrated and hated by most. If you haven't seen The Living Daylights and License to Kill, put them on your list. The Brosnan era sent the series spiraling back into a Roger Moore abyss. Daniel Craig would have made a fine successor to Dalton. Just my two cents!

Morty!
