memorial day
two of my favorite photographers were gracious enough to share their memorial day photos with long island daily photo. I couldn't narrow it down to just one today so I decided to include all three.
this first picture was taken by my son Ian. I call it waiting for parade. it was taken on main street in farmingdale.
I call this one main street long island.
this is another great shot taken by my husband anthony. I love this scene because I feel it captures a sense of what suburban long island is about. this is taken in front of the towns farmingdale post office.
this photo doesn't need a title. this shot was taken by ian and for me this is basically what memorial day is all about. here we have a vet who obviously gave everything he could for our country's freedom yet he is still giving more.
thanks ian and anthony.
