Thats funny and odd .. interestingly I read this morning that they were planning on a wider release in 2D ...
Either that or someone doesn't know the difference between 2D and 3D. Or perhaps someone needs new glasses.

Funny sign. In 2 or 3-D, I want to see the movie.
My husband can't watch 3D movies because of a lazy eye, so we were quite happy to find the one theatre was showing the 2D version.
