a blue sky from the last blizzard...

Saint-Kilian-and-the-2011-Farmingdale-Blizzard

taken from my archives, this was rush hour after our last blizzard. me and and about two other people were the only crazies driving around. the snow doesn't look as pretty anymore but we did get blue skies yesterday and we're supposed to get some today as well. maybe more snow will melt! if you'd like to gaze at more wondrous skies from all around the world or if you'd like to add your own sky, please visit the skywatch friday meme, thanks to klaus and his team, sandy, wren, and sylvia.

I, too, love the sense of silence in your capture for the day and lovely blue skies! I do hope you have more of them this weekend. Our two days of sun and blue skies are over and they're now predicting snow/wind/rain for the next ten! Oh, joy to the world!!! Have a great weekend, Lily!

That looks like it could have been snapped where I live :-) I have to echo the silence comments...that's one of the things I love about winter - it seems everything is at rest.
