the sky has been dreary the last few days in these parts so I thought it would be cheerier to post something from a day when the sky was a beautiful blue instead. I've posted this very same pussy willow shrub before here. oh, and, happy first day of april everyone, don't forget it's april fools' day!

Great minds - I posted a pussy willow Skywatch last week, only mine were further on and all fluffy with pollen. So we're warmer in chilly Scotland than you are in Long Island! Makes me feel quite tropical!
However far on they are, pussy willows (catkins we call them) are good value on a cole spring day.

April Fool's Day indeed. Schools were closed today due to heavy snow. Ugh.
Found some pussywillows last week but not many. Hopefully this coming week after the slushy snow is gone, we can go back to that spot and see if more have grown.
