as I post this I wonder if the government may be shutdown before midnight. I guess we will all know when we wake up saturday morning. whatever the case may be, I hope it is for the best.

I was in the city yesterday, was gorgeous! On my ride down, sat with govt. workers who were actually hoping for a day off! Didn't sit well with me but just amazing! Glad they were able to keep it going for a bit anyway.....the Macy's Flower Show was really beautiful! Have a great rest of your weekend!!

I have to say cab rides are the best for taking photos. You get a very different point of view, one that isn't often seen.
