bon-bons by the pool

Trader-Joe's-Bon-Bons

now if only I had a pool! if you ever get the opportunity to sample trader joe's vanilla ice cream bon-bons with chocolate cookie crust, do so as soon as possible. they are only 60 sweet calories and if you are like me they will satisfy your chocolate, cookie, and ice cream cravings in just one tiny bite. it was extremely hot out yesterday so I felt totally justified in enjoying one (or three).

p.s. this is not an ad for trader joe's.

Cool, pleasurable treats are certainly in order on these hot days.

I'm sure that those bon-bons will move fast.

I attest that I have been filling my cravings for Italian Ices and Ben&Jerry's ice cream these past few days.

They look delicious!
So, if they are 60 calories and I just eat ten of them, then...uh oh...

oh my goodness, yum!!!

We don't have a trader joe's nearby. Shucks. And the ones in the city are so packed all the time.

What a great find? Thanks tho for the tip, Lily. Hope you're coping all right with the heat.

Wow, what wonderful treats.
I was having a tough night tonight. My hometown hockey team (Vancouver Canucks) were being beaten badly by the Boston Bruins, and our favorite baseball team (Toronto Blue Jays) had to stay alert to stay alive against Kansas City.
So I suddenly announced, "I need chocolate." I climbed up on a stool and liberated a partial package of dark-chocolate-dipped cookies. Just enough to get me through the crises.
Come summer, I know I'd love these bon-bons if I can find them anywhere. I could sit beside the hot tub and eat them, or beside the dog's wading pool.
