now if only I had a pool! if you ever get the opportunity to sample trader joe's vanilla ice cream bon-bons with chocolate cookie crust, do so as soon as possible. they are only 60 sweet calories and if you are like me they will satisfy your chocolate, cookie, and ice cream cravings in just one tiny bite. it was extremely hot out yesterday so I felt totally justified in enjoying one (or three).

I was having a tough night tonight. My hometown hockey team (Vancouver Canucks) were being beaten badly by the Boston Bruins, and our favorite baseball team (Toronto Blue Jays) had to stay alert to stay alive against Kansas City.
So I suddenly announced, "I need chocolate." I climbed up on a stool and liberated a partial package of dark-chocolate-dipped cookies. Just enough to get me through the crises.
Come summer, I know I'd love these bon-bons if I can find them anywhere. I could sit beside the hot tub and eat them, or beside the dog's wading pool.
