when I first looked at the price of gas today, for a moment I actually thought we were lucky it went below $4. funny how easily I've become brainwashed into thinking that is a 'good' price for gas. I do love this classic purple car though. to share a part of your world or just see more of others, please go to "that's my world tuesday". a big thanks to klaus for hosting with his team of helpers, sandy, wren, and sylvia.
Great looking car, Lily! And, yes, it is amazing that we don't faint when we see the price of gas these days and actually think anything under $4 is a bargain!! Guess that means we're adaptable, huh??? Hope your week is off to a good start!
Gorgeous classic car, but just think how much gas it must use! Sigh. I remember when it cost $5 to gas up my Volkswagen if it was really, really empty and running on fumes! — K

You have heard of LI & its many stereotypes? You wonder if they may be true but wish not to risk visiting in the event that they are. Be bold then & visit me daily & I promise I will show you many sides of Long Island that you will be both amazed & inspired by.

We can almost think that photo is from the past until you see the price of the gas!
The color of that car was called Plum Crazy in it's time. Those were the fun years. PGma
The color of the picture goes certainly well with "gas."
