Wasn't that rain incredible? Must say, you made the most of the moment!

Well, the rain does look familiar!! We've had so much of it along with gray and gloomy skies this year, but have to admit that I prefer that to the incredible heat they are having in so many parts of the country! Hope all is going well, Lily! Thanks as always for your visit/comment! Always appreciated! Have a good week!

Sylvia
For some reason I got a kick out of your "I entertained myself" comment. The rain must be a relief from the heat.
Looks like you are having more than your share of summer rain, just as we are in the UK.

OMG that rain was insane last night and my umbrella broke! I waded through ankle deep puddles, thankfully I was wearing FitFlops and they'll dry out .. love that photo, the iPhone gets a small but very nice sharp image

I always like rain on glass, apart from the fact it looks pretty it also means one is dry. Raining here today as well.

Good thinking! As the rain descended, you took out your camera and recorded it for our D week! Great photo! Have a divine and hopefully sunny week.

Greetings from DROUGHT-stricken Texas. We could use a good downpour like that. Many of our trees in what is usually the subtropics with 45-50 inches of rain per year are dying! Great photo and you got a car wash to boot!

I am maybe one of the very few who loves rains and happy to have wet feet. I love our rainy season more than our dry season!
i was in the adirondacks on tuesday and it was pouring so hard, we pulled the car over for a bit.
