oh henri...

Henri-Edmond-Cross-at-The-Metropolitan-Museum-of-Art

Henri Edmond Cross, Landscape with Pine Trees, 1896

I must have stared at 555 photographs trying to pick one out to post just now. I know, such a problem! isn't it lovely? I snapped this one at the met awhile back. feeling uninspired from my own work I was forced to turn to one of the greats. I hope you like it as much as I do.

It is interesting as taste can change overtime... I used to not like pointillism but now I do. This painting reminds me of Paul Signac.

I'm with you! A great painting. It sure does not look like that around here.
